Ram Slam T20 Challenge 2015 Thread

Cobras pulled off an improbable win. Knights should have taken this, but some slogging from Kleinveldt and Engelbrecht got them back into contention. GG!

Knights middle order is bad, no Obus Pienaar and Pite van Biljon :wtf:

It is ok to loose a good game, but I don't think the knights feeling good after that loss... 2 good/bad overs, that's all that made the difference.

Knights definitely snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Some real amateur bowling in those last few overs. Siboto can't serve up that crap at his speed and expect to get away with it.

I had switched off the tv when Cobras required 44 to win off 21 with two new batsmen at the crease only found out this morning that they won

Yeah, that was an unlikely win. Knights should have secured it. Pity for them.

Don't want to start a new thread so I'll post it here:

I know nothing about cricket or rugby - also not very interested. Yes I am the girl who sat next to Dan Carter at a rugby thing one day and only paid attention to him because I thought he was good looking. Haha.

I have been keeping an eye on little Cilviano Draai, an 8-year old boy from Helenvale who was almost killed when he was caught in crossfire between gangs. He has been in ICU for 10 days. Yesterday while at the hospital it struck me that Cilviano, who is a huge cricket fan, might be quite happy to meet some of the Warriors players.

As I only had a vague idea who they even were, I asked sports editor, Alvin Reeves what flaming hoops one would have to jump through to get one of these people to come have a chat to Cilviano.

I was so blown away. It took one email and today Warriors captain Colin Ingram and seam bouler (see I got it right Alvin) Basheer Walters came to see little Cilviano in Greenacres' Intensive Care Unit. Chatted to him like they were old friends. Gave him a Warriors shirt, new bat and ball (Cilviano was looking for a lost ball when he was shot). When they left Basheer also gave him his cap, a high five and you could see everyone was so deeply touched.

As is my new habit I went to cry a little in the car. True heros indeed.

What a great gesture by the Warrior's lads. A little kindness goes such a long way. Well done to them.

Today's TV coverage : Titans vs Knights

The other game is Warriors vs Lions
I prefer the non-televised matches - less work for me. :) Anyone know if next weeks Warriors vs Dolphins match in EL is going to be televised?

According to the Supersport site, next week's televised game is between the Cobras and the Titans which starts at 18:00

Damn so nobody will see me catch that six one handed in the crowd with a beer in the other ...

More importantly it won't matter if you catch it. No TV, no money.
