I must admit its fun to watch when other teams do this,usually its Dolphins, looks like it will be a Cape Cobra's vs Dolphins playoff

KP back for Dolphins T20 charge

ape Town - Good news, Dolphins fans.

Kevin Pietersen is on his way back to Kingsmead, and he will play in Wednesday's Ram Slam T20 Challenge playoff against the Cobras.

Pietersen had played the first five matches of the Dolphins campaign, blitzing two centuries and two half centuries as the Durban lads rocketed to the summit of the log.

Since his departure they have struggled, but Friday's win over the Cobras in Durban ensured a home play-off against the same opposition.

Pietersen has been in Dubai working on his KP24 Foundation, and he is due to star for the Melbourne Stars in Australia's Big Bash that gets underway on December 17.

The Dolphins confirmed to Sport24 on Monday that there is a good chance that Pietersen would play the Ram Slam final on Saturday against the Titans on Saturday, but that still needed to be "firmed up".

Pietersen has scored 363 runs in this year's competition at an average of 121.33 and a strike rate of 172.51.
