Ramaphosa strengthens position within ANC

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa notched up another win in the leadership contest for the ruling African National Congress after his allies secured a resounding majority of posts on the party’s top decision-making structure. [Bloomberg]
 
Now he doesn't need to share the dodgy tender deals with the wrong camp

with even more corruption incoming

and Eskom, and every other SOE, still not being fixed
 
How close is Cele to Ramaphosa, why is that useless cnt still hanging around, how easy could he be replaced without things imploding?

He could easily be since he is estranged from the RET gang, but then Zweli was also estranged when he suddenly became a hero after the Digital Vibes scandal.

Besides that I doubt Cyril would drop him from cabinet, he is a very strategic ally to have in KZN, same as Senzo. Before someone goes on about which comes first, party or country, there is no country to govern without the party, so party dynamics are just as important to manage.

At worst he might be reshuffled to another ministry.
