Random recruiters phoning and e-mailing spike

Has anyone else experienced random recruiters phoning and e-mailing much more than usual the past two weeks?

A couple of guys from senior to junior at my company including myself who don't update their online CVs in a long time are suddenly getting a flood of calls.

Normal for this time of year. Around July/August people resign and move elsewhere and they will do the same come December/January.

All the headhunters are out to start 2017 off with many candiadates. And they're going to waste your time.
