Is anyone else getting random timeouts atm?

I don't think anything has changed on my side but to be safe I rebooted the router and restarted my PC.

I also tried my WebAfrica unshaped verizon, SAIX accounts and shaped SAIX account. All are doing the same thing.

I am pinging random websites and although PINGS are good with no fluctuations I am getting random timeouts for no apparent reason.

Anyone else using WebAfrica having the same problem? What else could it be? I can't play online anymore as the timeouts are interfering too much :/

hmmm International sites seem to be most affected. In fact local is quite smooth although still the odd time out.

Regarding the timeouts, SAIX has not informed us of any known outages on there network/backbone however we would query if there was any issues on there network. Please inform us if you are still experiencing problems on there network.

Connected to Telkom ISP, in Pretoria. Last two days ALL internet access (web, e-mail and FTP) is so SLOW it is alomst unusable, most attempts simply time-out, Anyone know what's going on??

alphabyte you having problems as well?

Last night everything seemed fine 'till around 22:00 or thereabouts. I was playing online very nicely and suddenly the timeouts started happening again. Only this time it was hanging for quite a while. Then when it did come to no one was downloading on my network but latency was over 2000 to google.co.za on an unshaped account. I eventually gave up, turned the PC off and started playing my guitar :/

I was using a WA unshaped account and can flip over from verizon to saix at will. Both were giving same problems.
