Randpark Ridge Tower Users

Hi Guys,

A bit of a quick poll - I've been a user of the Randpark Ridge tower since it's launch and would like some feedback from other users on this tower...

I stay around 850m LOS from the tower and used to experience 1Mbps speeds at all times - this has slowly degraded to the point that I'm getting around 20Kbps to local sites.

I'd like to know if this is "MY" problem or a more general issue on this tower due to load etc.

I also get between 10KBps and 30KBps on the Randpark Ridge tower. My link used to be so fast that hosted websites from home, but I have since moved them off to a web host because the link just got too slow.

Just waiting for my contract to expire and then I'm gonna look at what Neotel is offering. I refuse to use Telkom on principal.

Anyone else - not worth pushing iBurst for answers if there's only 2 of us....

*cough...umm...im on Randpark Ridge Tower getting full 1mbps (wen not capped ) depending time of day though, in the morning between 6-8 it will download up to 120KB/s and then during the day its about +50-80KB/s and then after hours it can reach 120KB/s again

You are not alone...

Have similar issues with Gardens / CBD / Sea Point / Century City towers in Cape Town…

- iBurst doesn’t give a damn it’s up to you if you want to use the service or not.
