It is? Are you sure you are not thinking of the actual IS usenet servers? Technically theyre all mirrors of each other, but I don't think that its an actual giganews mirror. With 400+ days retention, they would need HUGE servers to be a mirror.

I think he means that the SAIX and IS news servers "get their feed from" Giganews.

But ja, they are not exactly "mirrors" of Giganews.
