RapidShare Probelms?

Hey there everyone, often when I want to download something off of rapidshare, I get an error from the website saying either

a) That I have exceeded my download limit which is bs since I haven't downloaded a thing.

b) That I'm trying to download from an IP address that isn't mine.

Anyone know what is causing this problem, and how can it be fixed?

one word.... dynamic IP
try a reboot lol
I get the same error but then its these idiots at work downloading off there. give it a few min and it should work
 
sorry im a real noob in terms of adsl setup, what is it that needs a reboot, modem? how do i do that? Im at home and its just me online so I dunno.
 
just unplug the power ( 30 sec to be on the safe side )
and turn back on. your ip should change
 
arg now it says I've reached my download limi, before it said i was busy downloading something, this sucks
 
Only one way to concour the prob...Pay them...I have an account and i can tell you, it is worth the while...:)
 
thanks man, i'm trying that rapget thingy now, telkom can't even get downloading right, we are all doomed lol. I would, if I wasn't a broke a$$ student and if I download a lot from them. 3gb cap killed that idea.
 
ok i dunno what is going on with rapget, it goes from waiting (where it counts down) to getting file, then back to waiting etc etc, is this normal?
 
ye that happend to me too.... I think i refreshed the page and waited a min and the download started.
