hi guys i had a rapidshare account for a month and at the same time i registered at thr rapidshare.com site for the free account all was fine until today ... i extended my membership on the rapidshare.de site for another month and now i cant seem to register again on the rapidshare.com site .. :confused:

does anybody know how i can register for free on the rapidshare.com site?

Uh ... maybe you should ask for help on the rapidshare site?

tried that but no reply... i dont mean to bother anybody just thought maybe somebody else also experienced the same thing
 
Never been a fan of Rapidshare. It claims to offer 'free downloads' if you wait 5 minutes. 5 minutes later no download for indecernible reasons. Waste of time and a money grabbing opportunity.
 
I think the window period for paying for one and getting both is over.
There were links to allow .de to convert to .com. I can't find them any more.
You may have to supbscribe to one or the other. The .com version is best for new content.

You can write to [email protected]. I did and they got back to me quite promptly.

you must learn to use saix proxies an other tricks. ;) search on this forum there is a thread about it i remember.

yeah i also tried finding those links but i cant doesnt exist anymore i guess...
btw gatecrasher does rapidshare.com have a search facility to search for specific files within the rapidshare.com site ?

Sadly no official search facility, since the idea is that you share files with your friends.

The best 3rd party Rapidshare search index that I've found is: www.rapidshared.org

You can also try googling using "rapidshare.com/files" in your search terms.
