RARBG shut down

I skimmed through that and I didn't see any references to peer to peer, nice.
How do you think that streaming services work?
If Carte Blanche did include it, would the average viewer understand it?

More Monochoice scaremongering. it paints this bad picture, tells you how much monies hollywood loose, when in fact that most shows a profit. Disney has
The company reported net income of $264 million, or 14 cents per share, for the fiscal fourth-quarter ended Sept. 30, up from a net income of $162 million, or 9 cents a share, during the year-ago period.
While Amazon:
During the third quarter 2023, Amazon generated total net sales of approximately 143 billion U.S. dollars, surpassing the 127 billion U.S. dollars in the same quarter of 2022.

So ja, they're "loosing monies".

They losing money, no question about. The amount they losing, is a rain drop in the ocean.

But hell Bru, we are bound and determined to advertise that "piracy" is a thing. We have to bring it to the attention of the illiterate masses.

An ill considered "anti-piracy - anti-IPTV" advert, was aired on the local radio, for a few days. Suddenly IPTV piracy became a hot subject of interest among a lot of people who had not known of or heard about IPTV before.

The big problem these supposed losses that they are perceived to incur, it is no more than saying I won a 100 Billion Zim Dollors. It's all made up.

I do much the same, I watch for free, stuff on iPlayer etc, I pay for other content, and what I cannot stream, for free somewhere, or find on a paid for service I get off a torrent site once or twice every few months. Prefer to stream as it is more convenient.

Its Carte Blanche, we were only 2 steps away from them promoting some oke using a briefcase to find 16 yr olds streaming pirated content in their bedrooms...
Just be glad they didn't connect to a redundant IRC server and claim to be surfing the Dark Web...

Glad to see okes here are using the correct syntax: "piracy"
Wait there is a correct Syntax for Piracy? I thought the only thing you need it to talk fancy, and wear an eye-patch. /silly
