Raru Game Pre-Orders

Is it just me of is Raru failing to meet the street date of pre-ordered games more often than not of late?

I switched to pre-ordering from them exclusively as Takealot was failing miserably to deliver on time.

I'm specifically referring to pre-ordered games. Not Raru in general.

In my experience they were quite reliable for release day deliveries (certainly compared to the likes of Takealot).

Who would you suggest is a more reliable source for release day deliveries? I'm open to suggestions going forward.

Good if they worked for you, well until up to now. For pre-ordering; I've stopped that practice because of said failures and publishers false-news-ing their titles.

I suppose you could play the numbers game via sites like isthereanydeal.com if you can live without the physical copy.

Otherwise, you'd have to go with the best from our current selection of the worst (loot, takealot, raru, cna, etc)
 
Who the heck pre-orders a game in this day and age, that is just asking to get screwed

I do. On rare occasions such as this one where I have pre-ordered a game to give to someone on their birthday (which it so happens is the release day)

However that has nothing to do with the topic at hand now does it?
 
i don't pre order games but i have with a book
it was released last year November
still hasn't arrived

Wish I had searched before ordering from them. Ordered on the 2nd - it was part of those dispatch in 3 to 5 days. till date nothing. I enquired from them and I get told that product will be available end of next week. Meaning I can only expect the item month end if i'm lucky. And to think I only ordered the one item so that I could get it sooner. :mad:

Dude, I pre-ordered Borderlands 3. There are certain games you just know are going to rock.

You're lucky you got some form of (poorly written) explanation. All I got was: Please note that the release date of has changed from 2020-01-17 to 2020-01-24.
 
Don't do physical pre-orders they never stick to the release date. Digital is the way and has been for 10 years.
