Hi Guys, purchased the following from Raru: https://raru.co.za/electronics/5693...gb-emmc-10-1-inch-touch-2-in-1-notebook-white

The product description says "With the resolution to bring details to life and the resilience to battle wear and tear, the Aspire Switch 10 is a stunning device you will want to share. Full HD1 (1920 x 1200) display, Zero Air Gap, and IPS technology2 combine to provide vivid clarity and bright color from every angle."

When i received the product i queried the fact that the laptop screen only supports 1280x800 and received the following reply: "The Acer Switch is a 2 in 1 unit that supports both resolutions. When the unit is used on its own screen it uses the 1280 x 800 resolution. The unit has an HDMI micro connector that supports the 1920 x 1200"

To me reading the product description from the website, it does not make sense that it is referring to an external display.

Any suggestions on what to do?

I'd return it. It says Full HD1 (1920 x 1200) display - not FullHD on external display.

EDIT: Just checked the link -
Display
Display diagonal10.1 "
Display resolution1280 x 800 pixels

The description and the product details do not match.

This. The description is clear.

The description is clear, people need to start reading the entire product page before purchasing.

The Description is clear, it says FullHD.

The Product Details section says what you quoted.

Maybe you didn't take note of the sections reading the entire product page?
