Perhaps the gurus can assit with this one, please?
We've got some new Dell laptops, with Windows Vista Business 32Bit, SP2.
The latest VMC software off VC website is installed.
It comes up when u start, and connects.
Problem comes when the connection is dropped... or when u manually disconnect.
Cannot re-connect again, without restarting laptop.
If you've disconnected (or connection dropped) and u try connect again, get connection error, RAS 720.
Any idea how to fix? Sounds like its not specifically a Vista issue?
I found some web discussions on it, related to registry issues... just wondering if you guys experienced it, know a quick fix?

try and uninstall and then reinstall TCP/IP , error 720 is normally a problem with the Windows XP IP Stack

thanx, redid TCP/IP as per:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/299357

now getting 613 error.... will try this when the laptop is in office again

Error 613: Invalid compression specified

1. Restart your computer
2. Try add the modem string &K3 to any existing modem string or just putting it in there by itself if you haven't got a modem string set.
3. If that doesn't work, try using &K0 in place of &K3.
4. Try reinstall the modem.
5. If the above fails, consult a third-party technician or modem manufacturer.

any other suggestions?

I am running Vista Business32 bit with Vodafone ver 9.1.2.5766 with no errors on the reconnect. Which version of the vodafone software are you using?
