I picked up a Rapsverry Pi from the local PC shop on Friday, with the NTV.mx plugin already installed. They showed me in the shop that it worked on their account.

Subscribed to NTV now and configured the plugin with my email and password.

If I open the add-on in the videos tab, I get an error of "NTV.mx error, check the log for more information".

I don't think the problem is with my account as I am able to watch on my iPad. Unless I must add a SetTopBox to my account somewhere?

I'm not familiar with the Kodi so don't know where to go and look for the log to see what the problem is.

Any suggestions appreciated, want to see if I can watch some of the 7s rugby !

Found this while looking for the log, does it mean the Rapsberry isn't connected to the web? Ethernet cable is plugged in and relevant LAN light on router is on ...

Do you have DHCP running at home? The above screenshot looks like configured on a static IP address.

Can you ping the pi? What's your routers IP address?

Hi,
Complete ignoramus on these matters. It's running from the same router as my Roku runs, so UnoTelly provides the IP which would be dynamic right? Will go back to the shop tomorrow ...

Just got record purposes maybe it will help somebody, wife played around and disabled the "wait for network" and then all worked.

Will now go and read threads about what else to do within now that NTV seems to be working well

Read up on how to integrate NTV with Ivue TV Guide for a much better experience.
