Yes I have returned,
Got FreeNAS running, initially wanted to install my media downloaders on that via plugins, but then thought using an existing, dedicated box would be better.
Here's what I have:
BoxA running FreeNAS, has \\FreeNAS\Downloads and \\FreeNAS\Media on CIFS share (is this ok?)
BoxB running Debian
BoxB would have all the downloaders on it, but I'd like to use the network share to store everything so it's all central. So let's take sabnzbd, it would have 3 folders, Downloading, which is on the local drive, Done and Monitor which would be network folders mounted locally. This is possible, yes?
All are connected via Gigabit LAN.
Any other idea on how I could achieve something similar?
I'm open to messing around with other setups too if you wanna suggest something.
Thanks
