That's FOUR years ago, I'd imagine there's been a lot of progress made with television technology. What I'd like to know when I'm buying a tv is: How many HDMI/USB ports does it come with?
I don't know about these things, but if you sell second hand you will be competing against those. That is what a noob like me would be willing to pay. Only option for a higher price is to someone who can appreciate it.
A very valuable skill is to learn to repair these tv's.I would have thrown my 32 inch samsung away 3 years ago, but thanks to R50 worth of capacitors i have extended the life of the tv, it will be ten years old next year.
I'm dead happy with mine - fantastic specs and quality as well
But the issue is the first shipment of Series 6 didn't have optical outputs, which didn't bug me back then. Now it has become an issue and I'm looking at the same TV but with the optical port.
These should - in theory - be about R4k or R5k used, but the problem with TVs is that most people charge just under what they paid initially ... and then the people end up keeping them
