Hey guys,

I want to get some feed back on my current build.

EVGA X58 3x SLI Mobo
EVGA GTX 295 CO-OP
Core i7 920 @ 3.2 ghz
12GB OCZ Gold DDR3 1600 mhx
150GB Velocity Raptor HDD (OS)
1.5 TB Bulk HDD
1 TB Bulk HDD
Cooler Master V8
NZXT Fan Controller
Gigabyte 3D Aurora 570s chassis

Any suggestions?

Well my pc aint gonna beat that... except in 1 field... At least my pc has a DVD WRITER. but i guess ur gona install the OS from a flash drive :D.

I would not go with a 295 though, get an ati card or wait for nvidia's dx 11 if you are fan.

Dropping 5k on a dx 10 card seems silly in my opinion.

Any suggestions?

What do you mean any suggestions? You've already bought it. You're either just blowing your own horn or trying to overcompensate for something by showing off your e-pe....

Relax one day you will be able to buy one man, no need to flip out cause other people have one :D

hey,

I meant by any suggestions to what would be a plausable upgrade for the current market. I do in deed have a DvD writer :D, (logic tells me that its a given). So you think I should wait untill the GT 300 series comes out or go straight dowen the red ally? The velocity raptor is a 10k RPM HDD, i did not see the full benefit of getting an SSD at the time because the preformance between the two were minimal, well not worth the extra 100-200 USD.

Opinions on the new GT 300?

Yeah, I'm gonna go with this.

why not get a DX11 5870 instead of an almost outdated DX10 card? plus the costs between the two are almost the same if not the GTX295 costing more?

I have a suggestion: Since your hardware is pretty much as good as it gets (at the moment), spend some time on searching for lightweight software that suits your needs and tweaking Windows (I assume you are running Windows 7 Ultimate x64). One thing I have learn't is that the best hardware alone doesn't guarantee a fast computer. Well configured lightweight software running on good hardware is the key to a fast computer.
