Following on this comment from another thread, I thought we could start a thread to share idea's on how to execute the upgrade on the Ratel 860p from 8 batteries to 16.

In my mind, these are the steps needed to execute which we will attempt to solve on this thread
1) Sourcing decent 18650 rechargable batteries. At a minimum, we should aim for 2200mah which is the same as the current batteries.
2) Figuring out how to covert a 4s2p battery set up to a 4s4p set up.
3) Figuring out what additional minor components are needed such as what gauge wiring, battery housing, etc.
4) Figuring out if the battery status indicator will automatically detect the new batteries or if any additional chamges are required.
5) Check for overheating and decide if a small fan is needed.
Please let me know if I have missed anything then we can tackle each point.
