Hey guys,

I read on Nocap.co.za that they offer 256k with 50/1 or 100/1 ratios... What exactly does this mean? I read it somewhere else on this site but it wasnt really explained.

Thanks

Hi

50/1 is the amount of users sharing on one line (50 users to 1 line).
Bandwidth has been good for most users as some people are only using it in office areas when they have more than one person browsing or sending email.
I must just add a small note here that the response to nocap has been very encouraging. We plan to make some upgrades very soon, just waiting for the extra lines. There are also some other service we plan to offer soon, so check back at our site in a short while +/- 1 month, I will give a full report on this here at this forum.

Thanx
Jason

Hi

Read the reply of ProAsm under the topic Contention Ratios. He explains everything clearly I believe.

Cheers
