So i went through my old treasure trove of old hardware ive been hoarding, and i came across a brand new Razer Naga Epic mouse i bought a few years ago. I used it for about 2 months when loadshedding during a firmware update bricked the hell out of it. Was looking at my rig and thought maybe i can try and revive this sucker and ill finally be free of my HP special. Things ive tried :
1. Reload the firmware using synapse - Device not detected.
2. Reload the firmware using legacy firmware application - Device only detected momentarily then freezes application.
3. Initialize device recovery through its boot loader with some button combos - Windows USB device not recognized.
Ive heard i might have some luck if i can get the device to register in linux and then trying to reload the firmware, so i tried (not a linux buff at all, got stuck quick). It seems there are no linux supported applications to reload the firmware.
Id really appreciate any tips anyone could give me, would save me some cash if i could get it running again.
Regards
