Anyone know if it is possible to buy a simple splitter pass through device for RCA? Actually I don't need to split - I need to input more than one device into a TV and a sound system.

Thanks Ivan Leon. It looks a little much. I'm actually shocked that there is so little available because many people surely have multiple devices - DVD, DSTV, even tape players. Surely there is a less bulky, inexpensive solution. Surely an automatic switch that detects where which input is on and perhaps prioritises them if more than one is on would be the obvious solution? Surely these things should be easily accessible?

Maybe you can daisy chain the devices i.e. connect A output to B input, B output to C input etc.

People with lots of devices with Audio/Visual outputs would be using a Switching AV amplifier as the centre of their Multimedia system

one with remote = R530.
Mine got buttoms.

The only auto thing there is, is on HDMI. But then everything must be samsung. as soon as you but a dvd in, it tells the tv to watch dvd, etc.

I stand up, walk to tv cab, and press the buttom. [dvd plaver, video recorder, tv]

choose the one with the rotary switch, last the longest, [5 years]

You won't get an automatic. You won't be able to get a better price (for a 4 way selector with remote) than R350, as in my post above.
