I created a SATA RAID setup on my Asus A8V mobo using the NVIDIA nForce4 chipset. I then fitted the same SATA RAID hard drives into a ASUS A8N-SLI Premium mobo (also used the (NVIDIA nForce4 chipset) - I did not install any RAID drivers - could boot, read/write.
I have now fitted the same SATA RAID hard drives into my DFI Lanparty mobo (it also has the (NVIDIA nForce4 chipset). I can boot from the stiffy, CD-ROM and an IDE hard drive - but not from my SATA RAID. Unsure why - according to the Tech at DFI, I must install the RAID drivers whilst installing WIN XP again.
Can I install the RAID drivers without destroying all my files allready on the RAID set? I was thinking of trying the Repair function (or maybe the upgrade).
