Hi.
I'm staying at 70 Motlopi Street, Lotus Gardens Ext. 2, Pretoria, Gauteng. Our area has an extremely poor, if not non-existent, cellphone network coverages for ALL network providers (Vodacom, MTN, CellC and Telkom). One has to go outside the yard into the streets, even during the night, just to try and use the phone, be it incoming/outgoing voice calls and/or data usage. When it's cloudy, the problems are even worse.
This really affects everyone in and around my area. This also may put people's lives in danger because it's extremely difficult to use one's cellphone in case of emergencies and dangers. This also affects the businesses in the area very negatively.
At one stage, I had an FNB Cashless ATM inside my business. I had to cancel the contract as the machine could not operate properly under such circumstances. My area does not even have the Telkom, or any other service provider, network for Landlines.
Can someone please help and/or give advice what to do. Cellphone boosters are a no-no to most of these poor community members, who solely rely on wireless networks for communication, business operation, studies, etc.
