Hi all
after 4 years of not having DStv, I decided to reconnect my decoder.
I plugged my explora in, contacted Multichoice, made a payment, and my services on their side show up as active. However on my Explora 2A, I get a message stating "We are confirming your subscription. This may take a few minutes. If the error continues, please contact us for assistance." I have contact Multichoice numourous times today, I have adjusted my Dish, as I had to reassemble all that for DStv to get a signal in the first place, and nothing has worked. I don't want to take the decoder into Multichoice, as I had replaced the hard drive on the Explora, and I have had instances from them, when they see the warranty seal has been void, and they have turned me away, so I would rather solve the issue at home if possible.
It seems that the decoder is not responding to commands sent my Multichoice to activate, or clear any errors. Could it be perhaps due to the fact that it has been unplugged for so long?
Thanks
