Hi

I need some help please.

I have a ReadyNas setup at home, with a few personal folders and folders in which I make backups of my my business data.

Now the thing is, as my little sister stays with us, I don't want her to have access to all my folders on the Nas drive. I only want her to have access to the videos folder and her own documents folder and nothing else.

I have tried it but I can't get it right as to allow her access to certain folders only, as every time I set rights on folders I can't access the folders I need for work purposes.

Can someone help me with this?

Thanks

Are the shares you want her to have access too also normallly password protected?

If so, create a public group and assign access to the movie and document shares to the public group then assign your and her users to the public group.

Don't keep your porn on the NAS?

Come'on man, streaming is free.

No the shares she has access to is all the media files.

The shares i don't want her to have access to is all my personal and company stuff.
