I went to telkom direct this morning to upgrade from 384 to a 4meg line. They tell me it will take 4 days but i have just checked my router and it has changed from 384/512 to 4096/512 does that mean the line is upgraded already

LOL, yip more money, gonna change my mweb uncapped to 4 meg uncapped now. The speeds on my 384 were killing me

Yea, took awhile to convince the wife but eventually she said yes.

Yes, download a couple of things. You will quickly see the difference. If all is ok you should download at about 420Kbps. Do a speed test @ www.speedtest.net.

I am D/L on news host small differerence but still on 384 with mweb will change tomorrow, so it will still sync at 384 speeds!!!!!i think

Correct. Your physical line speed is 4096 but you are being limited by your ISP's 384 package.
