98% of the time, PD is always grabbing the right releases for shows, movies and anime with correct release dates as well.
New episodes for shows and anime are fetched on time as well.

When it comes to plex recognising media (which iceberg/riven solves through symlinks), I haven't had issues for shows and movies. I've only had issues with plex recognising anime properly but I've got a script for that.

Iceberg/riven is better no doubt but I'm too happy with my setup to switch. I'd recommend trying it out though as
1. PD is "dead" as of 18 May 2024
2. Riven gets better every single with new features being added and bugs being squashed (and the devs are pretty cool people)

I get you. I want to switch over to Linux but I have sonarr and Radarr all set up quiet nicely and I don't want to give that up just yet.
I think I'm gonna try Iceberg on windows but not running on docker and see how that goes.
 
Damn so they are limiting traffic now on cached torrents. Apparently 2TB per day.

2TB per day is an absolutely insane amount of traffic, they're basically just stopping the people that just on a whim decide to add 100TB hashes using Debrid Media Manager.

It's a lot of traffic I think they want to cap people using it as plex libraries sharing it. Before the limit you could actually easily have 1 x 4 Euro sub and have a 1 Petabyte library with 200 plex users streaming.

The 2TB limit is still good enough to run a small personal plex with a few users and still have that 300TB library.

I have 2 accounts and my plex server account is still well within the new limits.

More limits...

Zurg is a big abuser of the api I checked my docker logs it's hitting the api like crazy. I want to see if there are rate limit settings for it.

So they modified the api and that broke Zurg because we can no longer list /torrents :-(

Zurg is stuck in a loop now refreshing and then after a while gets rate limited for abusing api hits. The party is over it seems.

Yeah the updated fix came out on the zurg repo and been using that since it came out.
Alleviated the new limits and I can now play my content again.

Listing the stuff takes a bit though

edit: some stuff still seems to be missing but my content is at least playing, will wait for yow to release another fix

Update 3hrs ago: Fixed the limits, it's 250 per minute, not per second

we have been forced to play nice with their new API limits so we are here disrupting the new release cycle with a fresh update - the fourth release candidate.

Apart from fixes collected from nightlies since RC3 launch, this also contains 2 new config options:

api_rate_limit_per_minute which is 250 by default

torrents_rate_limit_per_minute which is 60 by default

We will monitor how good this RC4 perform before releasing publicly. For now, it will only be available to zurg sponsors.
