Really SARS?

If so your company is likely monitoring your traffic with a broken proxy configuration in the middle.

Could even be some dodgy software at home.

Works fine here, so the problem doesn’t appear to be their end.
Can confirm that if the certificate info is provided by the OP.
 
The www subdomain is configured correctly but the root domain is not, and the certificate is not a wildcard certificate (only issued for the www subdomain instead of *.sars.gov.za).

Actually that is really weird.

safari seems to auto append www to url typed into the address bar manually.
Clicking the url that I actually typed above shows the error.

Not sure why anyone is still not using runtime/dynamically generated SSL
