Realm transfers

Hi guys

So, how exactly does this work? If I move a lvl 80 char to a full realm, will I still need to wait for a spot?

If I do get in, what is the wait times on raids and if I DC while in a raid, will I have to wait again?

Want to move to a full realm as you can notice as I'm tired of LFG spam -.-

Very good choice dude Full realm does have problems like wait times and stuff but starting pug groups is alot easier.

If you log on to the server at right time you wont have to wait.
I made a mistake long time ago by moving my character off full server back in the day when the island dailies just game out and the server crashed cause of too many people at the vendors for new gear.
SO i moved and was very unhappy with low pop server had to pay to come back with my main left alot of alt on that other server.

You get good and bad pugs still but at least you get pugs.
Wait times are not that bad.
And i play on locked server just Sunday nights is bad.

Its such a mission to get groups on low pop realms :S
 
Firstly full realms are more likely to be locked for transfers. So if you can't create a level 1 Char there it will be locked for transfer as well. Medium to full servers though are not a bad option if you want to see more people. I just want to warn you that the fuller the server the more server lag there will be. Currently everyone wants to raid and some evenings on full servers we have lag spikes of over 3 minutes!
There are a another twist to this as well. You don't necessarily get more groups on fuller servers. Due to the fact that there are more idiots on fuller servers people are more picky about who they invite to groups, and PUGs are a no go. On smaller servers you tend to know a lot more of the people and PUGs still happen due to the fact that guilds are to small to just do guild runs.

So unless you can get into a good guild on a full server, you will need to think a bit more on your problem.
 
<Prophecy> on lightbringer is a horde guild. Might wana create a char on LB and /w crawley, aurelien, or cloe, and just hear if you can get a invite. Im not a officer but im sure they'll let you in.
We have a quite a bunch of SA guys here, even on the alliance side.
Its a mostly SA guild.
 
nah we're a casual raiding guild, we have cleared naxx 10 man. Os 17 man :P And i would be lying about 25 naxx, really not sure. We have a group of raiders but some are more intersted in questing and pvp etc.

We have a website but we a clan forum here: http://forums.prophecy.co.za/f23/ that you have to apply for. And we use wow raidar to schedule raids.
 
Naxx 25 man tonight, going to clear it this week.
