Rear foglights driving thread

I drove back from Harrismith on Monday this week. There was this oke in a blik met wiele on the road with his fog lights AND his headlights on bright in broad daylight. I wondered if I should give him the benefit of being forgetful after coming up van reenens until I saw him deliberately switch on all his lights after a petrol stop.

Keep your lights on, make sure you're visible right?

This thread is useless without complaints about laser intensity high level brake lights when waiting in the pitch dark of a Pizza Hut drive thru...

Nah, that was covered, while you are sitting at the drive thru you can look away from the bright brake lights, unlike when driving behind a rear fog lights ahole where you have to look ahead at the road., and thus the light cause an issue.

Oh how blinding

It's not all about being blinded, it's about distraction.

You may not have realised with your 0/0 eye sight (:p) that everyone is different, and light sensitivity varies greatly. For many people, myself included, vehicles with brights on at night are a huge problem. Rear fogs less so unless I'm quite close to the vehicle. Heck brights (or over zealous people with 57 buhjillion lumen LED spots) during day are also sometimes an issue in specific circumstances, messes with my depth perception

BMW driver had his rears on, so I tailgated him with my brights on. He even flashed his hazards to warn me about my brights!!!. I just left them on, he eventually moved over. This was in Booysens road this morning around 05:15.
