My lounge is not quite shaped correct for home theatre and I just bought some rear selectable bipole/dipole speakers. Front stage is fine - but it's the new rear I'm curious about.
There are two positions, neither ideal - but looking for advice on what should be the most ideal of the two

1. Location 1 on the sides and I can go to 0.7m behind my listening position too. BUT I can only install at 2.2m high - that's it. The speakers will be flush with the wall and cannot be angled downwards.
2. Location 2 behind the listening position but around 2.5 metres back and 1.2m high ...
I'd guess the positioning in location 1 is fine - but not the height. I'd guess the height in location 2 is fine - but not the distance back.
Which is better to go for?
