Rear View Camera Installation

Has anyone here ever done the above before. I saw the below camera on TakeALot, and it's rather cheap. How difficult would it be to install, and how would I know if it would be compatible with my car?

I'd say your car needs a console with a display unit.

If your current car radio has a screen as well as an AV input functionality at the back it will work. It should be easy enough to install. Too many videos for that on Youtube.

I have a display unit, RCD 510, so that should work. But how would I know these two are compatible?

Hi.
Your unit has the inputs for a rear camera, so it should work.
Rather go to one of these car sound aftermarket sellers like AUTOSTYLE, not sure where you live,they should be able to give you better advice.

Had a camera installed to my console and all i know is that the connects to the reverse lights so as when reverse engages the camera goes on. Then there is 1 or 2 cables that go from the camera to the console.

I see you can also get a review mirror if you don't have a screen on you console
