Rearview mirror - please help

So I'm driving along merrily today when the rear view mirror falls off. I had the windscreen replaced in October and I'm thinking that PG Glass did not do their job properly - seeing as how the license disk sticker peeled off after a few weeks. :mad:

Will/must/can PG Glass fix this for me? Or is it a VW job (vehicle is leased so costs not an issue)

Any advice welcome as it is very freaky driving without one :eek:
 
Happened with my old Alfa years ago. Found a tube of adhesive at the local Midas especially for attaching mirrors to windscreens - very fast curing superglue, basically.

Just do it yourself... Soon. Driving without one is suicidal.

Please don't tell me you drive an Audi A1. Monday I was driving behind the lady in an A1 with her rearview mirror hanging off by the cable. It was funny to watch as she had streched the mirror with one hand holding it whilst she drove with both hands on the wheel..

If I had my GO-Pro then, I would have posted it up on you tube.

:D - I drive a polo tdi but would love to have seen that. According to PG Glass it is a known issue with Golf 5\6 and Polo Shatterproof windscreens manufactured last year

They did put it back on

Isn't it supposed to happen? I mean, cosmetic fittings coming loose is on of the few standard features on all VWs.
