In the hip-hop industry nothing sells faster than controversy and the latest to test this theory is rapper Reason.

Drawing inspiration from American hip-hop artist Kanye West, rapper Reason, whose real name is Sizwe Moeketsi, caused a social media ruckus when he posted the picture of his new album cover on Instagram.

Reazus Christ is Cummin, depicts Christ wearing sunglasses and carrying a bare-butted woman over each arm. Fans first took issue with the use of the term Jesus Christ and then with the lack of originality of the cover in referencing the Kanye West album Yeezus. Reason's attempt at a disclaimer was a tweet before he posted the cover, saying: "I'm gonna offend a lot of you by the end of day. Apologies in advance (sic)."

But this offered little solace. The cover was slammed as blasphemous and imitative.

Tober Mthembu said: "So much lack of originality in South Africa, what's wrong with you fellas?"

Jesus left earth as a virgin, people are just jealous cause he's "cumming".
Apart from the name Reazus sounding like Yeezus... Kanye West didn't have a cool looking Jesus!

Haha. Reminds of the first time I saw that Christian bookshop in Gauteng called "Cum Books". Anyone else seen that shop? Surely, surely, someone must have said at some stage that calling a Christian bookshop "Cum Books" is not a good idea.

Meanwhile in South Africa, Christians go on murderous rampage against blasphemous cartoon.

Those places are all over.

Wonder how many times they are mistaken for adult themed literature shops?

"sorry mom, i'm running late, i'm going to cum in the waterfront first, then i'll go to woolies for you"
