So for those that do not believe that more than 3Gb is excessive, how much do would you think would be a reasonable cap...
Lets work in the realm that a cap will exist and that it exists within reason ...

30?
50?
100?

I myself think at least 50GB is reasonable, I am not raping the network but I am able to move around the internet with a certain amount of freedom ...
Considering downloading an online game ( between 600MB and 1500MB ) and playing it would kill any 3GB cap, and I dont even have my e-mail or other such things down yet ...
For those who feel that I the idea of getting more than a few megs of e-mail is unlikely, try my e-mail box, I recieve mail from any number of groups, and sites, some are purely text others have graphix attached ( although most have graphics now days due to added on ads ).
100GB I do not consider unreasonable either, while a higher cap would be great even 100GB is currently residing in the realm of fantasy ...

I will settle for 50GB ...

I think a reasonable cap is some sort of brown derby or a top hat - for special occasions, and otherwise maybe those cold weather caps with the flaps that hang down to cover your ears, and which look wonderfully silly..as well as WW2 airmans caps, those are cool too :)

30 Gig at a minimum, 50 would be great, but ultimately, there should be no cap!.

however, since you pay for so many Gigs, and the ones you don't use, you loose, they should give out 50Gig Caps as this should be MORE than enough, who cares then what you don't carry over!

From day one I've always said if we can't have uncapped ADSL, we should have no less than a 30GB cap.

Most people won't use 30GB. Some people will use more, but I think 30GB is very reasonable for the average person. They could then sell extra 30GB's at a reasonable price.

30gbs

I think 30GB is not unreasonable at all. 1GB /day would be acceptable.

3gb cap is there to keep diginet in business.

30GB minimum up to 100Gb at different pricing levels catering for different types of users!
This is obviously if the uncapped idea is out the window!
30GB would be good because it allows you the freedom to d/l what you need with out the fear of the a cap round the corner on the first day you use your acc!

30GB is very reasonable, i have been very happy with it. Sometimes i struggle to finish it but i gues thats because i hav 192

15GB minimum varying depending on line speed. eg 192=15GB, 384=30GB, 512=45GB 1024=60GB etc. it's not being unreasonable, and most people would consider that fair. and if they run out of cap, they should be able to buy more at a reasonable price

30GB- Month. That"s a very reasonable amount as you can play online games, watch the odd video or two and download legal stuff ;)

I agree, mayb 30 over the 15 for 192.. but 15 wud b better than what we facing. Additional gigs should b made available on a highly sliding scale... not this almost linear -pretending to b sliding- **** we seeing

i think that at least 40GB is fair, for all speeds of adsl and then there are better packages if you need more.

But lets say, if you are on 512 there is a package that you are reccomended to go on, like lets say 50GB per month, and you get a cheaper price than if you were on 384. And visa versa.

They should take away shaping and make the caps higher. I dunno if this will happen in at least the next 10 tho

30GB is fine for the slower connections if and only if uploads don't count towards it. Anything below a 50GB cap for the 1Mbit line seems silly, dunno.
