Hi Guys,

Which telco gives you the biggest rebate on your incoming calls?

I see Vox gives you

"40 cents per minute for every inbound minute that you receive from a cellular call
- 20 cents per minute for every inbound minute that you receive from a Telkom call"

What do the other telcos provide?

Thanks

Who cares?

either way it rips off your family members and customers who ultimately pay the price when forced to call you on those numbers...........

yeah well see my girlfriend mainly calls me from work so her work would be paying and she works for an international company so they never bitch about the phone account. would be a nice way to make money or at least then eventually not pay for the service

Yeah smart plan ^^

Number 1) I think the days of Inbound Revenue's are numbered, especially with the proposed Call Termination rates coming into affect from 2011. If you sign an Agreement with a provider for e.g. 2 years, that you will get x% or RX on inbound, the provider will NOT be able to honor this.
Number 2) Different providers offer different rebates... PM me and i will fill you in. What i can tell you is that Vox do offer the most (thats why they're the most expensive to call from a landline/mobile/other VoIP providers.
Number 3) If you are looking to "choek the system" why not go full arbitrage by getting a Heita Sim and getting your chick to call you on that, and then sell the SIM with accumulated Outbound Airtime.

8.ta's smart-@rs3 little launch tactic could backfire on them. I forsee lots of people trying trick number 3 above (either through company boards or through hacked switchboards) and lots of companies starting to block 081 on their switchboards.

To mess things up even further, they've only launched prepaid so far, not contract, and have a miniscule market share so the downside to a business blocking 081 on their board is not significant versus the risk of being a victim of fraud.

Interesting that an operator with as much experience in call fraud as Telkom has adopted such a risky approach...

For those who cant figure out who your Carrier is because the service has been whitelabelled by someone else, go to www.whichvoip.co.za - they have a VoIP Carrier query where you key in your VoIP number and it tells you who the provider is.

Handy link . Thanks for that MKSolutions

I can confirm that, with alot of these new numberings many large companies have asked for blocks to be put in place so they know exactly how much they spending.
