and the "customiser" is any different from what Dell has been doing for years? (even the damn ICON looks identical to Dells)

Or any number of other sites?

Yeah their prices did seem incredibly high when I looked.. and their little tool isn't anything TOO special these days.
 
I use Rebeltech all the time lately (over 13k). I can order direct from suppliers through a friend, but Rebeltech is actually reasonable with their markups (sometimes even less than 10%) and a lot more convenient than nagging mates for favours.
 
Yes, I agree, they are pretty good, I found that on some items, they were even cheaper than some distributors. And you usually get your order in a day or two
 
Lol just to clear it up, i do not own evetech.co.za :P
soz for sounding like a fanboy but i really like the site, and if you customize the PC to how you want, you can end up with an incredible system for very little thats why i like it!
