I received mine this morning, and I've been playing with it ever since. Full 3G speeds, so I am as happy as a fat kid in a candy store... Or a nerd in an Apple store...

What are the top speeds this baby can do? Not that I'm complaining, just curious...

Thank you thaank you thank you Afrihost. Your beer is on its way.

I have no idea, but the courier (Aptekor) was at my door at 8 sharp. I received an email on Friday about the Afrihost delays, and that it will be shipped this week. But I don't know if "this week" means sent on Monday. But I'm happy it's here.

My speed falls around 3 - 7mbps. Depends on where in my house I put it. World of warcraft seems to be stable....

They stole the phone lines to my wife's office - again.
Exactly the reason I got the damn thing.
So I gave ther the box- I'd tested it - but didn't use it since and told her to just follow the instructions - she should be able to use it.
I phone her now and ask if she was having any issues. 'I didn't bring it with me.'
'Why not?'
'I'm too afraid I'll lose it'
:wtf:

Haha - it's so small and light I can see her problem. But why doesn't she just fix it with Prestik to her pc monitor, where she can see it...

My only problem with it so far is the lack of an ethernet port. But I suppose that's possible in a later device. And improved range.

If you want an ethernet port, get a 3G router.

Works fantastic out of the box. Who would have thought that a credit size device would have so much juice under the hood. I will come back later on and post speed test results and findings. Thank you afihost. The MDS driver had about 100 units to deliver in his bike roughly. He said to me he might end up in an asylum cause there is a backlog of 5000 according to him.
