Hey guys,

My controller's battery is not holding charge anymore.

The light will change from red to green after a few seconds of plugging in the play n charge and then once you disconnect it, the controller goes dead. I tried the paper clip trick as shown here: http://youtu.be/-0U5Um_1eyM
This worked once and then went dead again. :(

Anybody know where I can buy another battery? (just the battery, not the play n charge kit). BT Games only sell the complete kit.

This is why i always recommend the wired controllers to people.

My play and charge kit did the same thing. I heard it's best to remove the batteries when not in use - something I didn't do.

Now I have two useless rechargeable batteries that don't charge.

Still not sure if I understand your point. The play and charge kit contains a rechargeable battery as well as the cord that you attach to the controller. You plug the cord into the console and you can play while the battery recharges.

Once the battery can no longer hold a charge, as batteries tend to do after a few years, you just leave the cord permanently attached to the controller and console, effectively giving you a wired controller.

Just go the normal rechargeable battery way, I have 4 eneloops and they last for ages.
