Guys....

I posed this question b4...... After a week of toyling with it I finally managed to solve the Marconi router and got my home pc set up as a web server...

After much messing around wit it and realising that telkom doesn't allow to set up an application for dynamic ip's and web servers we found a way around it.....

dyndns.org is ok, but not always reliable - the whole of last night, my dyndns domain was inaccessible, even though I could get to my server via it's IP address - this happens often enough for it to be unreliable for anything other than non-critical solutions.

I find...

that especially since we were dooped into using this same marconi - telkom partnership router we have managed to by pass any problems thus far...

A really technical piece of ... . .. planning to change to cisco... best route as we decided a while back.

but at least in business i'll b able to configure one of these things
