Recommend a feature phone for a elderly person please.

Hi all
I'm looking for recommendations, I'm looking for a new cellphone for my grandmother.
* Feature phone is fine, she litirally only uses a phone for making and receiving calls.
* Must have physical T9 keyboard, no touch.
* Nice and big buttons with clear labels will be a bonus.
* Big letter size on the screen will also be a bonus.
I'd like to keep this under R1000.

One of my first thoughts was Nokia 3310 2017 adition, anyone tried it?

I find those phone with buttons tend to have small screens with very low res and small buttons. Have a look at launchers like Big Launcher. They can have a nice big clear screen with the added advantage of things like SOS button and large text for SMS. You can pretty much lock the launcher down so, once setup, things can't get moved around. By using a smartphone you can also use things like gsm/gps tracking and phone locator services.

Are you sure ?, because last thursday piranha786 was looking for the same phone and he contacted Vodacom and they told him they don't stock anymore.
