Recommend an Android Tablet ... 10 inch screen

Looking for some advice please ..

I need to buy an Android Tablet. My requirements are:

* I would need to buy online and have it couriered to my home (The klein dorp I live in does not have any shops that sell this type of device, at a decent price, and I am 145km from the nearest biggish town (which would be Worcester, WC)

* Minimum 10" screen
* Must have a protective flip-case, preferably one that can act as a tablet stand as well
* Android OS, at least 4.4
* Wi-fi
* At least 1 x SIM slot
* SD / MicroSD slot
* Camera, front and rear (rear camera does not need to be high-end, and front camera would be used only for Skype)
* Decent battery life

In truth, I have most of the above available on my Mobile phone, which runs Android 4.4.2, and has a 5.5" screen, but my 64 y.o. eyes need a bigger screen.

Suggestions / advice / links to online availability would be appreciated.
 
I would highly recommend the Galaxy Note 10.1" 2014 edition. Great tablet, incredible resolution, very good battery life.
 
If it were me, i would get a nexus 9 because i am a spec ho. I want to shoot a zombie with awesome graphics and in hd.

Have you considered an Apple ipad mini? , they sell for about 2999 or 199pm on telkom mobile.

The tab4 is the budget range of samsung devices. It doesnt have the best screen and they use crap processors. The lenovo has the better screen and specs at that price.

If you are going the contract route, then get a samsung tab4 10inch or the more premium tab s 10inch. Telkom mobile has the best deal on contracts

I don't want to spend more that R3K max, so that cuts out the Samsungs. I also don't want an Apple, as I want to stay with Android OS

It will be a cash purchase - there is no way I will ever enter into a contract again. And as I said in my OP

Re: data, I would be content with a 3G connection speed, so no need for LTE (and where I live we don't yet have that available)
 
You will only get a Lenovo in that price range and size. Screenshot_2015-05-08-19-03-43.jpg This tab can be upgraded to kitkat by the way
