Recommend me a good cheap thermal paste and stuff

I'm looking for a really good cheap thermal paste. I personally prefer CoolerMaster brand. Also, I've been looking for a decent Sub R1K case to buy for a while now. I'm sort of leaning towards Corsair 300R It costs R700 which is not too bad I want to get it and a new thermal paste next week. So what do you think?

I plan to upgrade my PC in December this year. It's 7 years old now But it does't really bother me because I rarely find time for gaming these days That will change soon. I heard that The Witcher 3 and Batman Arkham Knight will be released next year. I MUST play these games no matter what. I suspect my old PC is not fast enough to handle these made-for-next-gen games.

My current PC Specs (Essentials):

Core 2 Duo E6550 2.3GHz
Asus P5E (LGA775/X38)
EVGA GTS 450 1GB
Corsair 2 x 1 GB RAM (DDR2 800MHz).

The above parts will be replaced with better ones.

Please recommend me a new Core i5 system My budget will be set to R4500. I need a new mobo, a new CPU and a new set of RAM sticks (4GB at least). Thank you.

Thermal paste? As in the shyte you smear between your cpu and heatsink. As in you can buy a tube for R20? R700 must either buy you a sh!7 ton or it must keep your cpu at -20 degrees C or something surely?

I misread. I thought you were looking for a thermal paste under R1k.

@OP I use Cooler Master Extreme Fusion X1 currently as my thermal paste of choice
