Im currently with mweb and the fno is zoom, im from pietermaritzburg and honestly im thinking of changing isp to maybe cool ideas or afrihost as i've heard more good things about these 2 isp then negatives, which isp would be better for me in my location, i mainly need better connections to overseas for things like streaming and online gaming, which even with my 50/50 line i still have buffering when streaming at night during peak times even though my internet would remain fast, also when gaming i get random ping spikes and packet loss, all these are making seriously want to change isps, any advice on which isp i should go with would be much appreciated.

Definitely Afrihost and cool ideas. Mweb is kak currently with them and get the same **** on Octotel and theres no point complaining when they answer you every two weeks just waiting for this horrific contract to end and migrate. When it come about things like that you need to complain and be heard with Mweb youd be lucky for them to understand you which is as painful as getting in contact with them

Do not for the love of your own sanity and all things holy go for "Cool Ideas".
Hi, is there something I can assist with?

As there seems to be a bit of a troll going on?

I think we were the 1st ISP on Zoom, so happy to help.

I jumped from Afrihost/Vrotvoet to Cool Ideas/Openserve. Avoid the latter like tapwater in Hammanskraal.

They give useless a whole new meaning.

Been with Cool ideas less than 2 months, I'm cancelling

Yesterday for hours NO internet. Now speedtest.net won't even load when connected via LAN cable.
Can you pop me your support ref for no Internet? Was it a line down?
Also which Fibre provider and router are you using?

Have to use MTN to cancel this useless CI/Openserve thing
Thanks this ticket looks like a performance ticket logged 25mins ago.

Your line looks super inconsistent so will have it logged with Openserve. My guess is optic levels.
