The PC:
Intel Pentium Dual Core E6300
4GB RAM
HD4870
1TB Hdd
1xDVD Writer
And a couple of low power pci expansions.

Help would be appreciated!

if you going to upgrade later look at about a 650-850w psu

if you want a HQ psu and you got some cash to burn, look at the corsair HX range, I have the 750W (its awsum) but you can get the 650W it will power your system with ease and leave alot of room for upgrading.

I don't think I will be upgrading this particuler system, rather buy a new one in the future.

@ PostmanPot : Where can I buy that vantec at a decent price?

True but, without the help of the PSU calculator, I'm guessing 360W would be efficient for wpswart006's rig.

Yeah. 360watt actual rating of course, so with a cheaper (less efficient) PSU he'd need a 460 - 550watt (peak rating I think).

PostmanPot, does that Vantec have 2x6 pin PCI-Express connectors?
The one at landmark doesn't.

No, but a Molex/4-pin to 6-pin converter should have been supplied with your graphics card, to plug into your graphics card's 2nd 6-pin port.

If you want 2 x 6-pins then look at the Vantec 'N' series.

Thanks alot for all your help!
I've decided to change the components a little, so this is the new specs:
Asus M4A78 R796-PCInternational
AMD Athlon II X2 240 R563-PCInternational
2GB DDR2 800 R461- PCInternational( I have a spare 2GB at home)
LG DVD Writer R199- PCInternational
Club3D HD4890 R2106-Sybaritic
Samsung 2333SW-R1822 PCInternational
Cooler Master Extreme Power 550W R634-Sybaritic

Total of R7413 incl
The reason I went for the Cooler Master was delivery costs .
Any reccomendations?
The R7413 is stretching the budget already. :o
