Recommend me a website design company

Hi guys. I am busy starting a small website. Since I know nothing about website design I need recommendations on which companies in the Pta/Jhb areas are recommended . It's a very small non commercial project.

I would also like recommendations on what type of hosting I should be looking at.

The site will be consisting of a frontpage and links to about 3 other pages .

Any advice recommendations would be appreciated.

I don't know a thing about programming so doing it myself is out of the question.
 
Hi. What will the website be for? I could design the website for you if you just need a simple site. I own www.digitaladdiction.co.za ... I designed everything myself ... except right now it looks like dogs vomit ... that will change though. Hosting will be pretty cheap I would assume ... you probably wouldn't need more than a basic package.
If you like, go to www.imbalistudio.co.za ... they're awesome, thats who hosts me ... they're not the cheapest on the net, but service/support is excellant.

Maybe try SYNERGY? Actually I think there are LOADS of website designers on here. Hundreds if not thousands !:eek:!

hi there do you take debit payments to.or is it only credit cards.Your site is so full of black and white its hard to see
 
Actually I only take EFTs and direct deposits ... there's too much fraud out there and also the credit card processors want 6% and in a lot of cases I only mark up 7% or 8% so I would have to charge at least 3 or 4 more % to take credit cards ... IMO waste of money. EFT are simple, cost effective and there is no stress on either of our sides.

Could you explain what you mean my site is so full of black and white ... I would appreciate if you could reply to this post at the other thread I created call Criticize My Site ... because this is my reference on how to make my site better.
If you read my terms and conditions, you will see that I only accept EFT and Direct Deposits.

Except I, as a buyer, have much more protection when making purchases via credit cards.
 
DiaMatrix They do all sorts of services and there webdesign is great and at good prices. All types of websites.

I Can recommend them, they did a site for my brother, which means that I had to deal with them (The web is not his field) and they were great.
 
How about using a CMS like Joomla or Drupal, those things almost design themselves.

I know ... you are protected, but I am not ... if someone buys fraudulently from my site, and someone else says it was their stolen card ... there is nothing I can do about it ... and lose the cash.
 
I think the virus gets ur details off other peoples' address books. My mom started getting spam ... then 2 days later, I started getting the same spam.
