Recommend me prepaid 3G ISP please

I honestly don't know what to go for. I was with Cell c on the 2 gig a month prepaid deal and that package has expired, but the service this year went so ****e I don't want to continue further with them.
At work we got Telkom Mobile a few months ago, and it started off well but that service has severely degraded over the last month or two.
Cell c deal is R1300 for 2 gigs a month.
Telkom is R1800 for 5 gigs a month, plus 5gb after hours. On paper a no-brainer, in practise... I don't know what to do.
MTN and Vodacom seem way overpriced in comparison so not in consideration.
 
Indeed very sad how Cell c has just lost the plot, I am also finding their service to be appalling as of late.
For Vodacom I reluctantly signed up for their 3Gb plus 3GB after hours contract at R169 to have as back up when Cll C are down - unfortunately they are down so much I have now run out of vodacom data for this month :(

I would also be reluctant to try Telkom mobile, is a crappy situation indeed.

Yeh, as above, have been meaning to check into that afrihost offering.
 
Telkom's R999 for 25Gb + 25Gb should make the decision for you (valid for 6 months)
 
The Afrihost deal looks tempting... but I'm wary of a possible catch - you're paying for 2gb, plus 3gb "Free" until Feb, at which time it might turn out to just be a 2gb deal. Or worse. Or better.

InusB - I had a look at that deal too, but it's not as good value for money as the 60+60/12 month deal.

There's also the "x" factor - the more subscribers jump ship from cell c and Telkom, the more likely their service will improve just from reduced network congestion?
I also read that cell c recently got a fat capital injection from its holding co, ostensibly some of that should go into improving their network... maybe, or just blow it all on marketing and hype to lure in new suckers.

The great thing about the afrihost deal is that it's month to month and if you're unhappy with the changes in Feb you can re-evaluate then!
 
Suggestions for best mobile broadband packages

Hi I hope this hasn't been asked elsewhere and I missed it. :o

I'm currently on the 8ta 10gb/m package for R199. When it works, it's great, problem is, it goes down all the time. I am slap bang in the middle of a coverage area. 8ta have sent technicians to my home, and they blame my equipment, saying it's faulty. (weird how the equipment fixes itself when I put my MTN top up SIM in the modem)

Anyway, I'm fed up with their **** and luckily my contract is expiring soon.

Obviously, 10gb at R199 per month is quite unbeatable (cheap price for a cheap ass network much?). Does anyone know of any similar broadband packages on any of the other networks (that actually work)?
