I have a client who needs some home networking sorted out. He has fibre plus a router, and I set up a powerline adaptor for him, but the wifi reach is not quite good enough to reach all corners of the house. What he needs is a decently professional setup with wifi (Unifi or whatever) that gets to everywhere. He has a large double-story flat-roofed house in Bryanston with a concrete slab. The fibre and router are on the upper floor near one end of the house.

Can anyone recommend a company that can do this for him?

BCX?

Not sure if Wired IT can assist.

Not a company rep as I do these things myself. But these guys might be able to assist.

What is the size of the house?
Is it possible to get networking cable from the upstairs to downstairs?
I think a site survey would be required in order to accurately offer a solution.

Unfortunately with the lockdown I don't think much will happen!
Would like to assist depending on the above.

He can PM me with the details of the house layout etc. and I will see what I can do if he likes.

If you can't run wires then I would suggest you try a mesh wireless network. Ubiquiti offers great devices but you can get other brands too. I saw takelot on 5 AP pro
