Hi guys,
I am looking to get a new modem / router. Currently I am using an old Telkom 300WR modem.
My uses have changed a bit where I have started streaming.
So, my question is that what modem / router (combo or separate modem and router) would you guys recommend. Specific models if possible please.
I currently have a 4meg line with Telkom and Vox as my ISP. Using my free data that I got with my Samsung TV purchase.
My needs are:
- Good and stable wifi coverage.
- Streaming HD as far as possible.
- Currently, there is on average 3-5 devices connected to the wifi at any given time. Sometimes increase to max 7 / 8.
- Budget wise, I am looking at not really anything more than R1 500. I am willing to look at secondhand as well. (Missed out on a TP Link Archer D7 on Carbonite recently.
