Recommendation on new Android Phone (R 8K)

Hi Guys,

Need a new phone. My Sony Z5 got water damage and is out of warranty... Looking at the LG G6 saw another thread about the Moto G5. Good phone? Else I was thinking of the LG G6 or G5.

What do you guys recommend?

Edit: I need something with a SD slot.

I would say go for an Samsung s7.

Alternatively saves yourself 4k and go for a Redmi 3s.

Or I can give you my spare z5 compact (out of warranty) for a very decent price:)

the G6 is R12 000 - R13 000

For R1500 extra you can get the Sony Xperia XZ, Nokia 8 From Vodacom

For R100 Extra you can get the Huawei P9 from Vodacom

For R89 Extra you can get the Xperia X Compact from MTN

Below your budget try the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro(2017), Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Nokia 6, Xiaomi Mi 5 (Takealot).

For your budget Dion Wired has the Samsung Galaxy S7 for R8000

Ok its a tossup between the S7 at Dion Wired or the Moto Z at Loot. Will decide today still...

What about the P10 Lite from Loot? It's a brilliant phone for the price. And you save ~R4k.

It is unfortunately gold.

I get 1 to 1,5 days on a charge, but I'm not a heavy user. Was fully charged at about 11am and currently on 71%. It takes less than to charge

Just bought the S7 Edge. Amazing with great battery life !!!

I went to my local Dion Wired they only had the gold S7...

I see they have black on the online store. Does anyone know what shipping method Dion Wired online store uses? Courier or Post Office?
